PICTURE PERFECT PERMANENT MAKE-UP

WHAT IS PERMANENT MAKEUP?

Permanent Makeup is a technique where pigment is carefully implanted into the skin to enhance facial features with long-lasting, natural-looking results. It's ideal for those who want to save time on their daily routine or maintain a polished look without traditional makeup.

At Bloom & Bare, we specialise in bespoke permanent makeup treatments including Ombré Brows - a soft, gradient shading technique that creates a defined yet natural brow;eyeliner tattooing to subtly or dramatically enhance the eyes; and Lip Blush, which adds a gentle tint and improves lip shape and symmetry for a more youthful, refreshed appearance. Each treatment is tailored to suit your features, skin tone, and personal style for results that are effortlessly beautiful.

Procedure and Results

The permanent makeup procedure begins with a thorough cleansing of the skin, followed by the application of a topical anaesthetic to ensure comfort. A specialised device is then used to apply pigment into the skin with precision, creating natural-looking brows, eyeliner, or lip tint. The procedure is minimally invasive and typically lasts between 1-2 hours depending on the area treated.

Results:
Results can be seen immediately after the procedure, with a fresh, natural enhancement to your features. For optimal results, up to two sessions may be needed, especially for areas like lips or brows, where colour retention can vary. Improvements continue over the first few weeks, with full healing and settling of the colour generally taking up to 6-8 weeks. Maintenance treatments are recommended every 12 to 18 months to maintain the vibrancy and shape.

Post-Treatment Expectations:

After the treatment, some mild swelling and redness may occur, typically lasting 1-3 days. Expect minor scabbing or flaking as the skin heals, which should be gone within 5-7 days. The final results will continue to refine as your skin heals over the following weeks, with colour settling fully after about 4-6 weeks. During the healing process, it’s important to follow aftercare instructions to ensure the best outcome, including avoiding excessive moisture, sun exposure, or makeup on the treated areas.
